Vijay Adhiraj is an Indian actor who has appeared in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada films and serials. He was introduced in the NFDC & Doordarshan produced Sahashraphan in Hindi, written by then Prime Minister of India Shri. P. V. Narasimha Rao and directed by the Kannada T. S. Nagabharana.
Career[edit]
Adhiraj made his acting debut starring in television serials, before featuring in films including Ponnu Veetukkaran and Roja Kootam. Throughout the 2000s, he became an established television and live event host.[1]
Suzhal, directed by his father the late Shri Anand Mohan and written by him, launched him into the limelight. It was followed by Nimmadhi Ungal Choice, produced by AVM Productions and directed by Shri Sp. Muthuraman. Ganesh-Vasanth, written by Sujatha, produced by Madras Talkies and directed by Suhasini Manirathnam, helped establish his credentials as an actor.
Chithi, produced by Radaan Mediaworks, established him as a sought after television star, and gave him the title 'Superstar' of the small screen.
He finished as runner up in the reality dance show Jodi Number One during season 1, alongside his wife, Rachana.[2][3]
He has since directed a film, Puthagam, which starred Sathya, Jagapati Babu and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. Adhiraj wrote the script in 1998, but was advised by his peers, including Crazy Mohan, to wait before launching the production.[4] The film had a low key release in January 2013 and received average reviews from critics.[5]
He has hosted many famous functions, including the Littleshows Award.

Megala is a 2007-2010 Indian Tamil-language soap opera that aired on Sun TV from 4 June 2007 to 25 April 2008 on Monday through Friday at 19:30 (IST) Later its timing changed to from 28 April 2008 to 23 April 2010 at 18:00 (IST) for 729 episodes. It had been receiving the highest ratings of Tamil serials and received high praising from viewers.[1] The show starring by Gayathiri, Deepan ChakravarthyYugendran, Vadivukkarasi, Kuyili, Shreekumar, Rajkanth and Bhavana. The show producer by Metti Oli serial fame Cine Times Entertainment Siddhiq and directed by Vikramathithan. It replaced Anjali. It was also aired in Sri LankaTamil Channel on Shakthi TV.
Plot[edit]
The story of a couple, Kalai and Thilaga, who have five children. Kalai's sister Vadivu lives with him and Kalai is totally devoted to Vadivu and does all that she says. Vadivu (Vadivukkarasi) tries to separate the couple as she does not like Thilaga. Mehala born to this couple and Vadivu hates that, convincing Kalai to disown her from the family. Hence Mehala (Gayathiri) is brought up in her grandparents home and Thilaga often visits to the home with her other kids. Mehala is very fond of her other siblings.
One day, due to a quarrel between Thilaga and Vadivu, Mehala hits vadivu and she got fainted. By seeing this, Mehala thought she died and ran away from home. She runs to various places and continue with her studies with the help of her friends. When Mehala was on the run, she saw an old man trying to commit suicide and she saves him from committing that. Mehala works as an assistant to a lawyer upon completing her education. Meanwhile, she tries to search for her family back.
Will she find her family, settle with her siblings? How she is going to cope with Vadivelu and more????
